Our weekly themes offer something for every child. No matter what his or her personality, from spectacular science to pirates, there is something to spark the interest of any child.
Is your child a budding David Suzuki? Then Environmental Awareness Week is just the week for him or her. Participants will be educated and excited about improving our environment while participating in summer outdoor activities like biking and Granville Island retreats. Environmental Awareness Week is proof that you can make a difference and have fun doing it!
If you would like your child to be aware and excited about health and fitness then sign him or her up for Have Fun, Be Fit and Enjoy Food Week. Participants will wear the chef’s hat as they learn to make easy and healthy snacks to enjoy at outdoor picnics. The children will also learn that exercise will bring great benefits as they participate in energetic dance activities to stay fit this summer.
Spectacular science week will unleash the mad scientists in every child as they concoct strange, wacky experiments and pay a visit to Vancouver’s renowned Telus World of Science.
If your child has a never-ending amount of energy then Sports Week is a must! Participants will learn to be good team players and develop leadership skills after a week of obstacle courses, gym activities, swimming and much more!
Arts and Drama Week is all about expressing creativity. Children will learn about art in its different mediums and how best to express their individual creativity whether it is through painting, drama or dance.
If your child is an ESL student then ESL Camp Week will be extremely beneficial for their learning. This camp will help ESL students learn how to interact, write and participate in activities in a fun and engaging manner as they sharpen their English skills and meet new friends.
Pirate Week will test every child’s sea legs while they search for buried treasure and learn the fine art of being a pirate. Participants will also get to attend the Maritime Festival on August 20th.
Finally, the campers are guaranteed to stay cool this summer with Water Adventures Week! Water lovers will thrive as they pay a visit to the spectacular Vancouver Aquarium, play in spray parks and go swimming. Participants are guaranteed to get wet!
