The RALLY (Richmond Aboriginal Leadership and Life-skills for Youth) Project

WANTED:
 ABORIGINAL YOUTH FOR THE 2011-2012 RALLY PROJECT


Richmond Youth Service Agency and Pathways Aboriginal Centre is currently recruiting 20 Aboriginal youth between the ages of 14-24 for the Richmond Aboriginal Leadership and Life skills for Youth Project (RALLY).  The RALLY project will run from September 20th, 2011 through to March 31st, 2012 and will cover a range of topics and themes that all serve to promote self confidence and awareness and encourage personal empowerment.

A few of the activities that will be offered cost free through the RALLY project are:

  • Career counselling and exploration workshops
  • Leadership and team building retreat
  • 9 week health and fitness challenge
  • Parent coaching sessions
  • Cultural and traditional teachings workshops
  • Opportunity to attend the Gathering our Voices Conference
  • Career and volunteer placement opportunities
  • Family celebrations
