Amy graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and completed her Employment Counsellor Diploma. She is passionate about going into the employment career field because she genuinely cares and wants to help clients in building their career future and goals. Amy is always enthusiastic to assist youth with their job search skills, provide different resources for labour market information, and network with employers to develop Career Corner Workshop at the resource centre.
Prior to working at RYSA, Amy gained extensive administrative and customer service experience in both private and non-profit organizations. These experiences developed her positive client centered approach which she brings to RYSA. In her spare time, Amy enjoys travelling, singing, and attending community events.
